PRESS RELEASE March 15, 2010

American Kitchen Corporation is an employee-owned kitchen distributor now open for business in Alamance, North Carolina, serving all 100 counties of North Carolina.

Representing over 300 years of experience in kitchen remodeling and construction, our team of employee-owners and installers promises to turn up the heat in the North Carolina kitchen business. Our core innovation is in removing the showroom middleman from the kitchen remodeling transaction, saving customers $10,000 or more on an average high-end kitchen renovation.

American Kitchen Corporation builds kitchens from quality materials like solid woods, furniture-finish plywood, and three centimeter granite. These kitchens are designed and built to the highest levels of luxury, content and quality, but start at less than $20,000 for a complete kitchen renovation. Our customer experience is high-touch, with a rigorous inspection process and a superior field staff of qualified contractors.

American Kitchen Corporation is not Kitchen Carolina, although the same people helped develop our website and marketing, as they have done for others. American Kitchen Corporation is owned by its nine employee-owners, none of whom owns or owned Kitchen Carolina, the failed kitchen remodeler. The American Kitchen Corporation business model is completely different from that of Kitchen Carolina and no comparison can be made in customer service or cabinetry quality, with AKC being a decidedly more high-end product and experience.

We at American Kitchen Corporation look forward to serving North Carolina as the state’s premier distributor of luxury kitchen renovations.

Sincerest Regards,

THE NINE EMPLOYEE-OWNERS OF AMERICAN KITCHEN CORPORATION

Aristocracy kitchens are strictly 5-star affairs, with soft-close, full-extension drawers, doors made from solid maple or birch and a long list of luxury accessories like articulating spice racks and can storage. Mia Amoire designer cabinets are European-style cabinets in either contemporary, cottage or Provincial style. The frameless cases are built with enormously thick, ¾” lumber and the doors are made of select pieces of solid maple or cherry. Complete Mia Amoire kitchens typically cost between $42,255 and $62,123 including flooring, granite and installation.

American Kitchen Corporation products are sold consumer-direct and through finer kitchen galleries.
